Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Osvaldinho Severo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nilmar Quaresma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Edgard Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilmar Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Paraíba having to interfere. Edgard Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Quaresma in the 8th minute of the match. Jeremias Pernambucano charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Pernambucano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeremias Pernambucano hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tremedal's zone, Nilmar Quaresma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Paraíba came out of the goal and Nilmar Quaresma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tremedal's Edgard Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Luz in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Nilmar Quaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot. VZB FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Quaresma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, VZB FC's Nilmar Quaresma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute VZB FC were awarded a corner. Nilmar Quaresma went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 35th minute, Vladimir Pavlov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernani Pombal hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. VZB FC's Wiliam Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hortêncio Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard Paraíba having to make a save. Nilmar Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilmar Quaresma was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, João Paulo Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tremedal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VZB FC the free kick. In the 51st minute, João Paulo Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nilmar Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 56 minutes of play, VZB FC's Nilmar Quaresma made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Osvaldinho Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Ernani Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tremedal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wiliam Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Nilmar Quaresma who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Edgard Paraíba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Tremedal's Jeremias Pernambucano got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Yoncho Bakalski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 minutes of play, VZB FC's Hortêncio Luz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgard Paraíba stood somewhat misplaced when Nilmar Quaresma came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 85 minute. In the 89th minute, Hortêncio Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tremedal's Edgard Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Tremedal from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Tremedal's zone, Yoncho Bakalski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Paraíba came out of the goal and Yoncho Bakalski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilmar Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tremedal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hortêncio Luz 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. VZB FC played a much better game than Tremedal and deserved their victory. The Tremedal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
