Vortex FC's Rui Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Pena in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, André Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors DF's supporters rose to their feet, but André Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vortex FC booed when Boca Juniors DF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors DF's Paulo Renato Soufi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ademir Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Leme in the 34th minute of play. Vortex FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when André Porto scored to the left of an out of position Rui Toledo, making the score, 0-8. 92 minutes into the match, Vortex FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Porto came free, but Rui Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute André Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors DF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vortex FC.
