Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Porto got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th match minute, Boca Juniors DF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Porto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Lira in the 7th minute of play forced Boca Juniors DF's goalkeeper Ademir Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Leão lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 6th minute, one of Boca Juniors DF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boca Juniors DF. Michel Lira took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademir Meireles. Ademir Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, André Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors DF's supporters rose to their feet, but André Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélio Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Renato Soufi might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélio Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Renato Soufi ran back to his position shaking his head. Hélio Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Dias in the 23rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors DF's goalkeeper Ademir Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Giovani Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademir Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Dias in the 30th minute of the match. If André Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Paulo Renato Soufi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélio Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Boca Juniors DF's Ademir Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Lira in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Michel Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Porto got free with Hélio Machado in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Puca getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Giovani Nóbrega hit a great ball. André Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Machado having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César Dias was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Renato Soufi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hélio Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademir Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 60 played minutes Boca Juniors DF got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Lira. If André Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Puca defense, Wiliam Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Machado. The Puca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Machado should have stopped the shot. André Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Machado having to interfere. In the 77th minute Jerry Hedman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademir Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Lira in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Boca Juniors DF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
