Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Júlio Madureira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Varedao AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dênis Carioca 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. Júlio Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Perez in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Varedao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Mattos came free, but Júlio Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Enrique Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dênis Carioca took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Madureira. Júlio Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When Enrique Vergílio fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varedao AD's protests and gave Enrique Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Enrique Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Mattos in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Zé Roberto Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Augusto Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Argyrita had played much better football throughout.
