Spectators: 6671 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agostinho Prata kicked off to start the match. Cláudio de Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Prata in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Ibuaco EC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Neto came free, but Cláudio de Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agostinho Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mário Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ibuaco EC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Emanuel Romero hit a great ball. Ibuaco EC's Mário Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Gbteam's Agostinho Prata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio de Godoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Agostinho Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Marinho having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christiano Cunha during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christiano Cunha hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Vitório Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Gbteam's Vitório Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio de Godoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agostinho Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio de Godoy having to interfere. Emanuel Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Cláudio de Godoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agostinho Prata went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emílio Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. Agostinho Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio de Godoy having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ibuaco EC's zone, Vitório Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio de Godoy came out of the goal and Vitório Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ibuaco EC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Emanuel Romero hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Vitório Breckenfeld ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio de Godoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 61 minutes, Vitório Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gbteam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cláudio de Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Breckenfeld in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes Ibuaco EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vitinho Coelho who took care of the corner kick. Agostinho Prata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cláudio de Godoy having to make a save. In the 71st minute Vitório Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio de Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Mário Albuquerque who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gbteam's Nelson Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Agostinho Prata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio de Godoy. Ibuaco EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agostinho Prata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to Gbteam getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Eusébio Albuquerque hit a great ball. Marcus Fontes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Emanuel Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelson Marinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match, Vitinho Coelho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cláudio de Godoy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Gbteam's Vitinho Coelho, in the 85th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gbteam. 90 minutes into the match, Ibuaco EC's goalkeeper Cláudio de Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agostinho Prata. Agostinho Prata's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cláudio de Godoy firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lucas Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gbteam played a much better game than Ibuaco EC and deserved their victory. The Ibuaco EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
