Pacovalinho's Eusébio Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Albuquerque in the 3rd minute of play. Fabrício Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrício Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Pacovalinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Emílio Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Furlan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emílio Prado in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Nicolas Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio de Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 36 minutes of play, Ibuaco EC's Mário Albuquerque made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Nicolas Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mário Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Furlan having to interfere. The Pacovalinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ibuaco EC were winning 1-2.

In the 56th minute, Ibuaco EC's Emílio Prado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Cláudio de Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Prado in the 62nd minute of play forced Pacovalinho's goalkeeper Eusébio Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pacovalinho's Eusébio Furlan got control of the ball when Mário Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio de Godoy came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pacovalinho's Nicolas Motta. But to his dismay, Nicolas Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 75th minute, Emanuel Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Pacovalinho's Paulo Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With an all-out effort, Ibuaco EC's Eusébio Furlan threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emílio Prado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Prado in the 84th minute of play forced Pacovalinho's goalkeeper Eusébio Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Albuquerque made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 85thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Eusébio Furlan would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Eusébio Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Prado in the 87th minute of the match. Emílio Prado struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Eusébio Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibuaco EC. Ibuaco EC played a much better game than Pacovalinho and deserved their victory. The Pacovalinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
