Spectators: 6406 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Sociedade Boca Seniors booed when Fedegoso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Tales Pernambucano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fedegoso's Válbson Duarte didn't even have to move. Nuno Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Saraiva in the 11th minute of the match. Wilton Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Válbson Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Luisinho Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Francisco Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisinho Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Mendonça in the 30th minute of play forced Sociedade Boca Seniors's goalkeeper Nuno Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, João Francisco Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fedegoso's supporters rose to their feet, but João Francisco Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Mineiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, João Pedro de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléber Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 played minutes Kléber Britto rounded Fedegoso's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 40 played minutes Fedegoso got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Gomes. Kléber Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sociedade Boca Seniors's Nuno Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Mendonça in the 44th minute of play. If João Francisco Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

51 minutes into the game, Nilmar Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sociedade Boca Seniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fedegoso the free kick. Fedegoso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Pedro de Toledo in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sociedade Boca Seniors! 62 minutes into the match, Sociedade Boca Seniors's goalkeeper Nuno Mineiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Francisco Mendonça. Wilton Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Válbson Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilton Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Duarte having to interfere. When Cléberson Valladares came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Sociedade Boca Seniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléberson Valladares couldn't finish the play. If João Francisco Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Saraiva in the 87th minute of play forced Sociedade Boca Seniors's goalkeeper Nuno Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Fedegoso's João Francisco Mendonça made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Olavo de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Luisinho Saraiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sociedade Boca Seniors's Nuno Mineiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Olavo de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Fedegoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olavo de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. The Fedegoso players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
