Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Noel Matorin made the kick off and thus started the match. When Itamari EC's Noel Matorin in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rendinha SC's goalie prevented a goal. After 6 played minutes Rendinha SC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Couto. Diogo Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rendinha SC's Diogo Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Urbano in the 8th minute of play. Rodolfo Mendonça received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Belmiro Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodolfo Mendonça slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Diogo Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Matorin in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Rendinha SC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rodolfo Mendonça hit a great ball. Almir Salgado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diogo Lago. Rendinha SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Faustão Arósio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Hermínio Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Amorim having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Faustão Arósio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noel Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Diogo Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Erik Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itamari EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustão Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Amorim having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermínio Fernandez in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belmiro Amorim saved Itamari EC from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermínio Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Itamari EC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Leite. After having played for 53 minutes, Hermínio Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rendinha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustão Arósio in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belmiro Amorim saved Itamari EC from getting behind. With a little luck, Rendinha SC's Diogo Lago got control of the ball when Erik Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rendinha SC's Diogo Lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Rendinha SC from getting a goal against them. If Faustão Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Rendinha SC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Rendinha SC's Hermínio Fernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 79 minutes of play, Itamari EC's Erik Urbano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo Lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Custódio Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itamari EC's protests and gave Custódio Saraiva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rendinha SC booed when Itamari EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Custódio Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rendinha SC's Hermínio Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermínio Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, Itamari EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Custódio Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Hermínio Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Amorim having to interfere. Diogo Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Urbano in the 99th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rendinha SC had won after a very even match.
