In the 14th minute, Silvinho Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuca Alagoano's late challenge caught a SOUZA FUTEBOL CLUBE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SOUZA FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Anacory SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Walmir Cardozo made a huge save. Rony Berger lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Anacory SS booed when SOUZA FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacory SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOUZA FUTEBOL CLUBE the free kick. Walmir Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Anacory SS's zone, Geovani de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmir Cardozo came out of the goal and Geovani de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Samuca Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute José Augusto Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrézinho Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Walmir Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SOUZA FUTEBOL CLUBE fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when SOUZA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Andrézinho Damião looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andrézinho Damião might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmir Cardozo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrézinho Damião ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrézinho Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the SOUZA FUTEBOL CLUBE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
