When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Rubens de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Osvaldo Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Vidal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Guilherme de Alcântara. That made the score 2-2 in the 56 minute of play. Osvaldo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Urbano in the 62nd minute of the match. Jefferson Urbano struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Osvaldo Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ariri SC. Alex Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dragons booed when Ariri SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson Urbano succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. Ariri SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
