Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Júlio Tepedino started the match with the kick off. Thomás Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Vinhas in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Shot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Shot's Thomás Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Novaes in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Tepedino in the 11th minute of play forced Shot's goalkeeper Thomás Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Giocondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês da Cunha in the 17th minute of play. Shot's Thomás Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Damião in the 19th minute of play. Thomás Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thomás Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Júlio Tepedino made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Vander. Shot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 28th minute Durvalino de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Tepedino in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Vander saved Shot from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Luís Fabiano Damião left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEREBA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 37 minutes, Carlinhos Vinhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEREBA FC and the Shot players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Shot booed when PEREBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes, Juarês da Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shot and the PEREBA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Juarês da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durvalino de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Vander having to interfere. PEREBA FC's Júlio Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PEREBA FC's Durvalino de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Magalhães to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Shot got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Macedo. Juarês da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Júlio Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luís Fabiano Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Durvalino de Alcântara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thomás Vander, 0-3. With his leg Thomás Vander managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when PEREBA FC's Júlio Tepedino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute, Júlio Tepedino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Júlio Tepedino in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomás Vander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 84th minute, Juvenal Marinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEREBA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 88 minutes, Júlio Tepedino made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Shot's Thomás Vander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Júlio Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
