Gabriel Mendes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Britto went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ernani Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Hortêncio Lopez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Itapagipe's Nelsinho Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Mineiro in the 22nd minute of play. Renatinho Arantes struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Nelsinho Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Club Condá. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Renatinho Arantes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mauro Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nelsinho Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Lopez to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Leonel Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Condá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Zeca Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapagipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeca Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Valadares in the 65th minute of play forced Itapagipe's goalkeeper Nelsinho Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sport Club Condá fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Luiz Fabiano Matos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Gabriel Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Sport Club Condá got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Arantes. Mauro Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelsinho Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Valadares in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Itapagipe's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Arantes came free, but Nelsinho Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Mauro Mineiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Club Condá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Sport Club Condá's Gabriel Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Condá from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that Sport Club Condá were the better team. Sport Club Condá's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
