A very good chance. In the 17th match minute, Cristai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. Viveiros's Mateus Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cristai defense, Mateus Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Romero. The Cristai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Romero should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Leopoldo Mazza made the kick off in the second half. Antônio Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Adelino de Castro made a huge save. Márcio da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Amauri Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Viveiros's Adelino de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Viveiros from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Viveiros getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Diogo Almeida hit a great ball. Viveiros walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
