In the 3rd minute, Afonsinho Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Betinho Meira. Adeque EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Paulão da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Joinville SS defense, Malcolm Burrows kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Lopes. The Joinville SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Lopes should have stopped the shot. Vitório Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Túlio Lopes made a huge save. When Sandrinho Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Joinville SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandrinho Sabóia couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes Adeque EC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Ribeiro. In the 22nd minute of the match Bruninho de Queirós sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Betinho Meira skillfully saved the ball. Betinho Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Soeiro in the 23rd minute of the match. Túlio Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Sá's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Túlio Lopes made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Malcolm Burrows sent off a good shot on target. Arthur Cardoso lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Sá in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Túlio Lopes saved Joinville SS from getting behind. Joinville SS's Túlio Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Ramalho in the 40th minute of play. Duarte Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Lopes having to interfere. Afonsinho Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Adeque EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Luís Hames kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Adeque EC's Duarte Sá in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joinville SS's goalie prevented a goal. If Leandro Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Lopes having to interfere. Duarte Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Joinville SS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sandrinho Sabóia hit a great ball. Túlio Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Ramalho went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Leandro Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Túlio Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Malcolm Burrows had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Adeque EC had played much better football throughout.
