Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marquinhos Neiva started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Piquerobi's Natanael Favoretto got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Reis in the 6th minute of play forced Piquerobi's goalkeeper Joel Faustino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinícius Tasso hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 20th play minute Matías Meireles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luís Fábio Arantes. 1-0. Alex Velasco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Luís Fábio Arantes had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marquinhos Neiva from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Matías Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luís Fábio Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Camelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Camelo's Luís Fábio Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Camelo from getting a goal against them. Luís Fábio Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Matías Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Arantes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Piquerobi's zone, Benjamin Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Faustino came out of the goal and Benjamin Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes Piquerobi got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Favoretto. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 58th minute, Tiago Gabriel Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Kauã de Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fábio Arantes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Camelo's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Neiva came free, but Luís Fábio Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Piquerobi's Matías Meireles made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fábio Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Fábio Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Neiva in the 73rd minute of play. Joel Faustino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Bertassi in the 75th minute of play. Marquinhos Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Arantes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Camelo's Adrianinho Alves got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to Camelo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zé Paulo da Silva hit a great ball. Luís Fábio Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Meireles in the 90th minute of play. If Benjamin Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Piquerobi had won after a very even match.
