Barriero's Fernando Rodrigues tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Davi Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Ian Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Contao's Clóvis Marquez in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barriero's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute Simão Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Pontes's late challenge caught a Contao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílton Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Barriero getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Amílton Pontes hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Contao's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Pires came free, but Samuca Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Davi Neto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Barriero's Fernando Rodrigues. Fernando Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clóvis Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fernando Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Contao booed when Barriero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes in the game Sidnei Pires got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 34th minute of the match, Davi Neto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fernando Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 38th minute, Contao's Clóvis Marquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Rodrigues. Fernando Rodrigues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 41stth minute of the game Simão Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Contao's Samuca Vander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuca Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Breckenfeld in the 42nd minute of play. Simão Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Vander having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davi Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Contao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Pires got free with Samuca Vander in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Contao's Samuca Vander got control of the ball when Simão Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Contao fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Contao's Davi Neto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Contao made a substitution. Natanael Teixeira replaced Bernardo Fantini. Samuca Vander made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Simão Pires sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rdth minute of the game Davi Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barriero's Fernando Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Davi Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Rodrigues was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Enéas Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fernando Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Marquez in the 92nd minute of play forced Barriero's goalkeeper Fernando Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Contao booed when Barriero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davi Neto in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute Otávio Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Contao players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
