The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boros Benedek hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. U.D. Mancini's Bozhil Vaptzarov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fodor Daniel but with some difficulty. Bozhil Vaptzarov might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bozhil Vaptzarov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute Bozhil Vaptzarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonsalve Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 8th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonsalve Flores. U.D. Mancini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. U.D. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. Gonsalve Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonsalve Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Hegedus Henrik notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of U.D. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores. Gonsalve Flores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bozhil Vaptzarov took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 27 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin. Bozhil Vaptzarovs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Bozhil Vaptzarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute Bozhil Vaptzarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gonsalve Flores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bozhil Vaptzarov got free with Fodor Daniel in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bozhil Vaptzarov made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Major Barna took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Gonsalve Flores to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Major Barna to maneuver through the defense. Gonsalve Flores made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Balazs Lajos sent off a good shot on target. If Bozhil Vaptzarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than U.D. Mancini.
