Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafael Matos got the match started through his kick off. The Gajueiro SS fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Gajueiro SS's Rafael Matos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 14 minutes into the match, Gajueiro SS's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Meireles came free, but Cafu Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavinho Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agenor Vale took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavinho Maranhense. Flavinho Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Matos in the 23rd minute of play. Celsinho Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Matos in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavinho Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 minutes, Felippe Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gajueiro SS and the Universidad dos Raios players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerônimo Meireles was the one to do the kick off. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavinho Maranhense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
