Tiaguinho Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Lopes in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Brasa FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ademar Guerra hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter Quintal got free with Tiaguinho Carvalho in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute Gil Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Lopes in the 33rd minute of play forced Brasa FC's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulysses Soares during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute of the match Leonel Veiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldinho Pombal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
