After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ricardinho Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taquarembo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Lima in the 18th minute of play forced Figueira FC's goalkeeper Hugo Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Lima in the 21st minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Figueira FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Rocha. In the 25th minute, José Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Figueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Lima came free, but Hugo Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Figueira FC's goalkeeper Hugo Pombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Galvão. 37 minutes into the match, Figueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Lima came free, but Hugo Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Figueira FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cícero Veiga hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute Ricardinho Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Pombal. Figueira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Figueira FC's goalkeeper Hugo Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ricardinho Lima came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Taquarembo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Lima couldn't finish the play. Hugo Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Lima in the 74th minute of the match. Egídio Gonçalves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hugo Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Lima's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Lima in the 80th minute of play forced Figueira FC's goalkeeper Hugo Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Alberto Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Taquarembo SC had played much better football throughout.
