Arnaldo Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Magno Andrade made a huge save. Alfredo Sarmento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Magno Andrade made a huge save. In the 16th match minute, Oneide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Andrade having to interfere. Magno Andrade made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Arnaldo Silveira sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Oneide were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Víktor Carioca was the one to do the kick off. Jardel Cunha took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magno Andrade. Magno Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Ademir Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Arnaldo Silveira put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Magno Andrade. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademir Diniz in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magno Andrade saved Oneide from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Oneide's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Silveira came free, but Magno Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joélson Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Ademir Diniz notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Oneide's Magno Andrade. Magno Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joélson Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidney Amorim in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Oneide's Murillo Figueiredo got a free kick in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, SC Ratata's goalkeeper Joélson Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Dracena. 89 minutes into the match, Oneide's goal looked a bit too open when Gerson Paranaense came free, but Magno Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Oneide's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Mendonça came free, but Magno Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magno Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Diniz in the 94th minute of play.
