Luizinho Netto's late challenge caught a Tornado FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizinho Netto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Luizinho Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes, Igor Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaraxaim and the Tornado FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guaraxaim! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Tornado FC. Marcel Queiroz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zé Carlos Gonçalves. 0-1. Zé Carlos Gonçalves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeferson Soeiro went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeferson Soeiro in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luizinho Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oséias de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Matheus de Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Carlos Gonçalves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizinho Netto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tornado FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Queiroz in the 56th minute. After 56 played minutes Guaraxaim got a freekick which was hit by Oséias de Amorim. 57 minutes into the match, Guaraxaim's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Queiroz came free, but Zé Carlos Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carlos Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matheus de Brito in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Matheus de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Carlos Gonçalves. Guaraxaim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 66 minutes into the match, Tornado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Netto came free, but Manoel Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jeferson Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizinho Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Soeiro in the 84th minute of play forced Guaraxaim's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséias de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Manoel Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizinho Netto succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. Zé Carlos Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Dante in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tornado FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
