Willian Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SC Proença booed when Pote SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pote SC's zone, Telmo Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Toledo came out of the goal and Telmo Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Prata in the 13th minute of play forced Pote SC's goalkeeper Cipriano Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Walmir Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pote SC's Marcelo Félix got a free kick in the 26th minute. Nelson do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Cipriano Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Walmir Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Pote SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson do Vale came free, but Cipriano Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Willian Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmir Prata in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Willian Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Cipriano Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson do Vale in the 62nd minute of the match. Walmir Prata succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pote SC's goalkeeper Cipriano Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nelson do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cipriano Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pote SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Proença were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
