Epms F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Pontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Abelardo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Bernardo Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

João Adolfo do Vale took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldão Paiva. Ronaldão Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. 94 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo Neiva notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of cruzeiro esporte clube's Ronaldão Paiva. Ronaldão Paiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Epms F.C fully deserved thier win.
