Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Delfim Gaspar made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Vander in the 19th minute of play forced Itape EC's goalkeeper Cristóvão Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Breno Cearenses short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Aníbal Brasil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 33 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itape EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morcegos the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Itape EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morcegos's goalkeeper Aníbal Brasil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mathias Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Cardozo having to interfere. Aníbal Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Gaspar in the 42nd minute of the match. If Breno Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Itape EC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Breno Cearense hit a great ball.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delfim Gaspar in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal Brasil saved Morcegos from getting behind. Aníbal Brasil came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Itape EC's Delfim Gaspar. But to his dismay, Delfim Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Delfim Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Brasil having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Breno Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itape EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcel Paraibano charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Paraibano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Itape EC's Emanuel Meirelles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Morcegos. After some careless play in the Morcegos defense, Delfim Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aníbal Brasil. The Morcegos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aníbal Brasil should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Morcegos's Marcel Paraibano got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delfim Gaspar in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal Brasil saved Morcegos from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Morcegos's Mathias Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristóvão Cardozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 87th minute, but Cristóvão Cardozo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Itape EC hanging dry this time. Amadeu Leal's late challenge caught a Morcegos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Leal helped the player get up and apologised. Amadeu Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Vander got free with Cristóvão Cardozo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Morcegos's zone, Breno Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Brasil came out of the goal and Breno Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aníbal Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Cearense in the 93rd minute of the match. Morcegos's Aníbal Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Cearense in the 95th minute of play.
