Gonçalo Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, RaToX's goalkeeper Bebeto Simão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Zilles. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Senna in the 15th minute of play forced RaToX's goalkeeper Bebeto Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Gonçalo Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto Simão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Gerinaldo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Dida Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rony Quirino was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Jorge Zilles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dida Pereira to make the kick off. Falcão Arantes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Mané Gomes got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for RaToX. Bebeto Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Senna's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Bebeto Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Zilles, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 3-0 became the score in the 57th minute when Gonçalo Senna elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Gonçalo Senna in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 69th minute, Mané Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RaToX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 72nd minute Gonçalo Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bebeto Simão having to make a save. In the 77th minute of the match Clemente Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bebeto Simão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. William Catarinense hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jorge Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Gonçalo Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Gerinaldo were the better team. Gerinaldo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
