Jefferson Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Cajuapara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abate EC's Cauan Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Moura in the 28th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Cajuapara FC's Gabriel Mendes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauan Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Michel Moura sped through Abate EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cauan Gaspar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Netto in the 63rd minute of play forced Abate EC's goalkeeper Cauan Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Lino Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Leão in the 66th minute of play.
