After 18 played minutes Seduc FC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Terra. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tales França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Gualter Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seduc FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Tony Terra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gerson Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Alexsandro Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Braga having to interfere. Vivaldo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Terra in the 69th minute of the match. Gualter Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Braga having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Ronaldo de Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Vila Luiza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seduc FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atlético Vila Luiza's Ronaldo de Alcântara got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gerson Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Terra's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Naldo Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vivaldo Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales França in the 94th minute of play.
