The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Porto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Write Fox getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rafael Porto hit a great ball. Flavinho Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rafael Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Seduc FC's Vivaldo Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Porto in the 16th minute of play. Rafael Porto might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vivaldo Diniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Porto ran back to his position shaking his head. Vivaldo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Write Fox's Rafael Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Porto in the 35th minute of play forced Seduc FC's goalkeeper Vivaldo Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Gugu Paulista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egídio Luz skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Seduc FC defense, Rafael Porto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivaldo Diniz. The Seduc FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivaldo Diniz should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Write Fox's goalkeeper Egídio Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Terra. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Terra made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Rafael Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Write Fox's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Seduc FC's zone, Rafael Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Diniz came out of the goal and Rafael Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Naldo Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seduc FC's protests and gave Naldo Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. Naldo Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Rafael Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Diniz having to interfere. Thiago da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Célio Berger, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Seduc FC's Vivaldo Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Porto in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Seduc FC's Tony Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egídio Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Write Fox made a substitution. Aloísio Quintal replaced Rafael Porto. Write Fox's Oswaldo Passos was substituted for Váldson Rezende. Gugu Paulista was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Write Fox got a penalty, and Trần Pham placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Gabriel Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Diniz having to interfere. Aloísio Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vivaldo Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Diniz having to interfere. A collision led to Write Fox getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Paulo José Marques hit a great ball. Write Fox's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
