The supporters of Seduc FC booed when Atlético Vila Luiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Terra in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerson Braga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Seduc FC's Gualter Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tales França struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
