Percy de Andrade started the match with the kick off. Joel Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Václav Hoza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Arthur das Neves made a huge save. Václav Hoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur das Neves having to interfere. João Saraiva scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltazar Britto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, João Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bodega's goalkeeper Arthur das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baltazar Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Václav Hoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur das Neves having to interfere. Ernesto Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Arthur das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Bodega's Arthur das Neves got control of the ball when Deivid Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, João Saraiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Baltazar Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Eduardo Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Bodega's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Joel Nascimento scored to the left of an out of position Arthur das Neves, making the score, 1-2. After the first half Bodega were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Nascimento to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Cacauzinho SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Bodega got a freekick which was hit by Igor Botelho. Danilo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur das Neves having to interfere. A collision led to Bodega getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Váldson Zanette hit a great ball. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bodega! Danilo Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Joel Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oséias Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Bodega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the game, Cacauzinho SS's Danilo Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur das Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 91 minutes into the game, Deivid Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacauzinho SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bodega the free kick. The supporters of Bodega booed when Cacauzinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Deivid Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ernesto Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Václav Hoza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacauzinho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Václav Hoza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Cacauzinho SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
