Marcus Rezende came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaíba FC's Donatello Prata. But to his dismay, Donatello Prata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Donatello Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Gai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Donatello Prata did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Marcus Rezende 17 minutes into the match. When Pablo Nastasio came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Guaíba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Nastasio couldn't finish the play. Kauan da Fonseca hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Agostinho Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaíba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morsing the free kick. After 28 played minutes Guaíba FC got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Sá. If Rodrigo Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Guaíba FC's Pablo Nastasio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Damian Gai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Guaíba FC's Donatello Prata in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morsing's goalie prevented a goal. Donatello Prata's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Marcus Rezende skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Damian Gai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Gaúcho in the 39th minute of the match. Tales de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Marcus Rezende didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Gaúcho to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Guaíba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Morsing's Severino Meirelles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guaíba FC. Guaíba FC's Damian Gai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Guaíba FC from getting a goal against them. Marcus Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Nastasio in the 65th minute of play. Marcus Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donatello Prata went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 70thth minute of the game Rodrigo Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaíba FC's Damian Gai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes Morsing got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Rosado. In the 72nd match minute, Guaíba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatello Prata to maneuver through the defense. If Rodrigo Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Roberto Prado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Gai having to make a save. Marcus Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donatello Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Gai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Gaúcho in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Morsing booed when Guaíba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Rodrigo Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morsing's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Gai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Guaíba FC's Sebastião Cavalcante got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Guaíba FC's Donatello Prata in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morsing's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Morsing defense, Pablo Nastasio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Rezende. The Morsing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Rezende should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Guaíba FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Morsing had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
