When Pablo Nastasio came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Guaíba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Nastasio couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Harras de Carapicuiba FC's zone, Donatello Prata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Cosme came out of the goal and Donatello Prata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harras de Carapicuiba FC's Vivaldo Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donatello Prata in the 13th minute of play. Sebastião Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Guaíba FC's Sebastião Cavalcante got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21st match minute, Harras de Carapicuiba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. In the 22ndth minute of the game Donatello Prata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harras de Carapicuiba FC's Vivaldo Cosme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Donatello Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vivaldo Cosme was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Donatello Prata notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Harras de Carapicuiba FC's Vivaldo Cosme. Vivaldo Cosme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 31 minutes of play, Guaíba FC's Pablo Nastasio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vivaldo Cosme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celsinho Luz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Damian Gai made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Otávio Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Li Rabei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Cosme having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Donatello Prata made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Guaíba FC were awarded a corner. Li Rabei went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Donatello Prata got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-4. 54 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Cavalcante in the 59th minute of play. Li Rabei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Vivaldo Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donatello Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donatello Prata might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vivaldo Cosme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donatello Prata ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Donatello Prata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vivaldo Cosme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The audience was convinced that Donatello Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vivaldo Cosme was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Harras de Carapicuiba FC's Otávio Mendonça got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Luís Guilherme Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Li Rabei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Vivaldo Cosme made a huge save. If Donatello Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 97 in the game by Donatello Prata from a close distance when the talented Vivaldo Cosme managed to make a qualified save. Harras de Carapicuiba FC's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded Guaíba FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Harras de Carapicuiba FC.
