Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zacarias Salgado made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Abortados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. Duda Fontes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sérgio Brasil. Abortados FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sérgio Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Dolcet went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eduardo Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sérgio Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sérgio Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiberiu Rucăreanu struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Sérgio Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gauacu EC. Eduardo Rosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliézer de Toledo came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardo Rosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Zacarias Salgado notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Abortados FC's Sérgio Brasil. Sérgio Brasil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sérgio Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zacarias Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gauacu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Salgado couldn't finish the play. Hamílton Ferraz got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Abortados FC's Hamílton Ferraz got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Paulo José Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abortados FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo José Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliézer de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zacarias Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gauacu EC made a substitution. Luís Eduardo Urbano replaced Duda Fontes. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo José Vander was the one to do the kick off. Abortados FC's Eduardo Rosa suffered a concussion after 55 minutes and had to leave the field. Sérgio Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Salgado in the 57th minute of the match. If Luiz Fabiano da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Salgado in the 64th minute of play. Zacarias Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Dolcet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Brasil having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Tiberiu Rucăreanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sérgio Brasil. The goal made the score 1-3. After 84 played minutes Abortados FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Vander. Eliézer de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano da Fonseca in the 87th minute of play. Tiberiu Rucăreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Brasil having to interfere.
