Rogério Ramos hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Vágner Veiga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rebarba FC's Inácio Koehler. Inácio Koehler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Luiz Paulo de Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder Tavares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Valdir Ortiz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Belchior Sarmento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Hélder Tavares made a huge save. Hélder Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Ramos in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Gildo Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gildo Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Hélder Tavares made a huge save. Hélder Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Ramos in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Gildo Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Rebarba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Machado came free, but Inácio Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Sílvio Luís Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Gildo Schmidt put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hélder Tavares. In the 40th minute of the match, Rogério Ramos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hélder Tavares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gildo Schmidt got free with Hélder Tavares in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Cuiaba's zone, Rogério Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Tavares came out of the goal and Rogério Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the game, Deivid Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rebarba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuiaba the free kick. A collision led to Rebarba FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Deivid Soares hit a great ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Tomé Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebarba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Sílvio Luís Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cuiaba booed when Rebarba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Ramos in the 56th minute of play. If Rogério Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vágner Veiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Inácio Koehler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Tomé Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebarba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomé Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 played minutes Sílvio Luís Oliveira rounded Rebarba FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. 76 minutes into the game, Rogério Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Hélder Tavares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cuiaba's Hélder Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Schmidt in the 84th minute of play. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Gildo Schmidt sped through Cuiaba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélder Tavares. Gildo Schmidt took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélder Tavares. Hélder Tavares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Rebarba FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
