Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luisinho Massa took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an all-out effort, Brete's Breno Aparecido threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luisinho Massa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, TRAIRAS FC's Rodrigo Cosme got a free kick in the 16th minute. Agnaldo Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 26th minute Luisinho Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TRAIRAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute of the match, Luisinho Massa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Breno Aparecido saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 41 minutes, Moisés Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRAIRAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moisés Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TRAIRAS FC's Breno Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save TRAIRAS FC from getting a goal against them. If David Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, TRAIRAS FC's Breno Aparecido got control of the ball when Olavo Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Moisés Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd match minute, Brete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Massa to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute of the match Valério Barral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agnaldo Furtado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Agnaldo Furtado was a little too slow when Dalmo Paiva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-1. Breno Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Massa in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Luisinho Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TRAIRAS FC's Breno Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Massa in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Mattos in the 71st minute of play forced TRAIRAS FC's goalkeeper Breno Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the TRAIRAS FC defense, Luisinho Massa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Breno Aparecido. The TRAIRAS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Breno Aparecido should have stopped the shot. Agnaldo Furtado made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Moisés Marquez sent off a good shot on target. After 85 minutes of play, Brete's Olavo Nunes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Breno Aparecido was left in no man's land by his defense there! TRAIRAS FC's Breno Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Massa in the 89th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Brete players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
