Vivaldo Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivaldo Pinheiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guilherme Ceresso came out and tried to block the shot, but Vivaldo Pinheiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute, Vivaldo Pinheiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taboquinha EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Vivaldo Pinheiro succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. 44 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Pinheiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guilherme Ceresso. Vivaldo Pinheiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Guilherme Ceresso stood somewhat misplaced when Vivaldo Pinheiro came free in front of goal and shot 5-1 to the left of him in the 48 minute. Taboquinha EC made a substitution. Ronaldão Amaral replaced Ruy Guimarães. Taboquinha EC's Ademir Braga was substituted for Luiz Guilherme Prata. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramón Bezerra to make the kick off. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Taboquinha EC fully deserved thier win.
