After having played for 26 minutes, Sabino Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumati SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabino Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Cumati SS's goalkeeper Sabino Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luan Palmeira. After 33 played minutes Floripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Bittencourt. If Dário Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Sabino Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabrício Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Capixaba having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Sandrinho de Toledo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Floripa FC's Orlando Capixaba. Orlando Capixaba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dário Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cumati SS's Fabrício Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Seco made the kick off in the second half. Sabino Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Sabino Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luan Palmeira went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ernesto Barral hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dário Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Orlando Capixaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Cordeiro got free with Orlando Capixaba in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dário Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Floripa FC's Pedro Luiz Camargo got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Dário Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sabino Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Capixaba having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Frederico Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cumati SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Capixaba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabino Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Orlando Capixaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 played minutes Floripa FC got a freekick which was hit by João Paulo Salles. In the 81st minute, Cumati SS's Sandrinho de Toledo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. After a rather tough play, Cumati SS's Márcio Silva got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cumati SS's Ademir Britto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Orlando Capixaba but with some difficulty. 97 minutes into the match, Floripa FC's goalkeeper Orlando Capixaba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Ceresso. When the match was over Cumati SS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Floripa FC throughout the match.
