Spectators: 6100 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) Severino Sarmento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Ulisses Tande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castores F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ajuda the free kick. After a rather tough play, Castores F.C's Ulisses Tande got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Cesinha Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajuda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Sarmento in the 7th minute of play forced Castores F.C's goalkeeper Aírton Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aírton Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Severino Sarmento put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aírton Lopez. Castores F.C's Aírton Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Nunes in the 16th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Severino Sarmento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castores F.C's Aírton Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th match minute, Castores F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Chaves to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Castores F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Sarmento came free, but Aírton Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Bastos in the 24th minute of the match. Sebastião de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dagoberto Chaves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Pedro Coutinho came out and tried to block the shot, but Dagoberto Chaves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. If Cesinha Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Afonsinho Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Luiz Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aírton Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Severino Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajuda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Sarmento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castores F.C's goalkeeper Aírton Lopez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aírton Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Bastos in the 39th minute of the match. Afonsinho Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Castores F.C's Aírton Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Sarmento in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luiz Bastos in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aírton Lopez saved Castores F.C from getting behind.

Ajuda's André Luiz Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severino Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Fellipe Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Afonsinho Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cesinha Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Lopez having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doriva Botelho during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Doriva Botelho hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Severino Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ajuda's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Sarmento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Afonsinho Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesinha Nunes in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aírton Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cesinha Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Aírton Lopez made a huge save. The Ajuda fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Ajuda's Severino Sarmento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesinha Nunes in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aírton Lopez saved Castores F.C from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Ajuda's Cesinha Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aírton Lopez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Luiz Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ajuda's Afonsinho Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severino Sarmentos short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Aírton Lopez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ajuda's André Luiz Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ajuda's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
