After 7 played minutes Carnauba EC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Paranaense. 11 minutes into the match, Carnauba EC's goalkeeper Alan Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Catarinense. Carnauba EC's Erasmo Paranaense suffered a concussion in the 58th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Kiko de Carvalho was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cipriano de Brito scored 1-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guto Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SPORT CLUBE INTERNACIONAL's Juan Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th match minute, SPORT CLUBE INTERNACIONAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Koehler to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Carnauba EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SPORT CLUBE INTERNACIONAL throughout the match.
