Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when João Adolfo Arósio made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Alves in the 5th minute of play forced Itaguara AD's goalkeeper Alfredinho Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Carlos Augusto Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alfredinho Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Romeu Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredinho Velloso. Itaguara AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeu Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marco Campidelis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Maniassu SS's Romeu Urbano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 22 in the game by Claudinei Duarte from a close distance when the talented Aloísio Martins managed to make a qualified save. Maniassu SS's players were relieved. After 25 minutes, Oswaldo Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itaguara AD and the Maniassu SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itaguara AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Maniassu SS. Valdir Veloso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfredinho Velloso. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Carlos Augusto Alves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho Velloso was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, Marco Campidelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maniassu SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaguara AD the free kick. Marco Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Claudinei Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maniassu SS's Aloísio Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Maniassu SS from getting a goal against them. João Adolfo Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If João Adolfo Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute João Adolfo Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Augusto Alves to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Claudinei Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaguara AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when João Adolfo Arósio in the 52nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 54th play minutes Claudinei Duarte shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Aloísio Martins and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Itaguara AD's Pedrinho Couto got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Couto in the 59th minute of play forced Maniassu SS's goalkeeper Aloísio Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Duarte scored 2-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aloísio Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If João Adolfo Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 68 minutes of play Maniassu SS's Marco Campidelis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Itaguara AD booed when Maniassu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Claudinei Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Adolfo Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Martins having to interfere. Aloísio Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 79 minutes, Claudinei Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaguara AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Claudinei Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaguara AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aloísio Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Adolfo Arósio in the 87th minute of the match. Itaguara AD's Claudinei Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Adolfo Arósio scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aloísio Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Itaguara AD were the better team. Itaguara AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
