Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) AND-VASCO's Tony Botelho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th match minute, Orrivel Plaete F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Roger Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Botelho in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AND-VASCO's zone, Alfredo Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Quintal came out of the goal and Alfredo Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Jonas Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, AND-VASCO's Jonas Zonta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Baiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kléber Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Roger Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Baiano came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by AND-VASCO's Tony Botelho. But to his dismay, Tony Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tony Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sílvio Luís Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tony Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the AND-VASCO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Botelho couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Léo Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léo Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Orrivel Plaete F.C got a freekick which was hit by Léo Paranaense. If Jonas Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Orrivel Plaete F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Botelho came free, but Roger Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tony Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tony Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Tony Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orrivel Plaete F.C's Roger Baiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Orrivel Plaete F.C's goalkeeper Roger Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Luís Leal. Sebastião Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Samuca Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. AND-VASCO's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tony Botelho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Roger Baiano 94 minutes into the match. AND-VASCO's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
