Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredo Godoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Marrua's Nilson Sabóia got a free kick in the 8th minute. Nilson Sabóia hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Léo da Mata sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Marrua's Lúcio Abreu didn't even have to move. Tostão Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfredo Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marrua's Lúcio Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Marrua from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Orrivel Plaete F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter de Brito came free, but Roger Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Gualter de Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tostão Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lúcio Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marrua's Serginho Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Gualter de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Marrua's Lúcio Abreu got control of the ball when Tostão Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualter de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roger Baiano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. After having played for 58 minutes, Gualter de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marrua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfredo Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Alfredo Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marrua's Gualter de Brito in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orrivel Plaete F.C's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute Alfredo Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Abreu having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Nico Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gualter de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Serginho Favoretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marrua fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Serginho Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Roger Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marrua. The Marrua players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
