The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Cardoso got free with Augusto Guerra in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Bico Verde FC's zone, Doaej Al Enzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With a little luck, Irai EC's Augusto Guerra got control of the ball when Edinho Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line. Irai EC's Augusto Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Widyawan Tecuari in the 38th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Bico Verde FC's Augusto Guerra threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Widyawan Tecuari, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
