Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Salvador Orixe kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Allan Valadares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilson Hoffmann. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After a rather tough play, ACE MT - FC's Osvaldo Viana got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ACE MT - FC's zone, Claudinei Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Hoffmann came out of the goal and Claudinei Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Norbert Mazierski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACE MT - FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Mazierski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Frial's zone, Salvador Orixe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Vinhas came out of the goal and Salvador Orixe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute of the match, Zé Pedro Mineiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nilson Hoffmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, ACE MT - FC's Nilson Hoffmann got control of the ball when Claudinei Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinei Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Nilson Hoffmann made a huge save. Claudinei Quintal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 30th playminute. 33 minutes into the match, ACE MT - FC's goalkeeper Nilson Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Quintal. After a defensive mix-up in ACE MT - FC's zone, Zé Pedro Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Hoffmann came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Claudinei Quintal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Hoffmann. ACE MT - FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Quintal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 46th minute, Osvaldo Viana made a precise shot to the right of Severino Vinhas. Frial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Pedro Mineiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Severino Vinhas was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Salvador Orixe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salvador Orixe really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Pedro Mineiro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Hoffmann saved ACE MT - FC from getting behind. In the 61st minute Claudinei Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, ACE MT - FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Quintal came free, but Nilson Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilson Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Pedro Mineiro's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Zé Pedro Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nilson Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zé Pedro Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Frial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Pedro Mineiro couldn't finish the play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Zé Pedro Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ACE MT - FC's Nilson Hoffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 played minutes Frial got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Gerber. In the 76th minute, Norbert Mazierski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Frial's Severino Vinhas didn't even have to move. Nilson Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinei Quintal went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Severino Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Mazierski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Frial's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Mazierski came free, but Severino Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ACE MT - FC's Osvaldo Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ACE MT - FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
