After 13 minutes of play, Mijo Futebol Clube's André Luís Valladares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlinhos de Toledo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Raimundo Garci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maia having to make a save. In the 21st minute, Raimundo Garci made a precise shot to the right of José Maia. Ervalia SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 40th minute, Raimundo Garci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mijo Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 45 played minutes, Mijo Futebol Clube's Wilian Ramalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Maia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mijo Futebol Clube reached it. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Garci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maia was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half Mijo Futebol Clube were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Raimundo Garci scored 0-5 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Leme charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Leme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Mijo Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Leme. Luciano Cavalcante hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ademir Soares took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maia. José Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 88th match minute, Mijo Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. If Ademir Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Arlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Ervalia SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mijo Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
