Hélder Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, C.RVascodaGama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Esteves to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of BARVASCO booed when C.RVascodaGama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Diogo Teixeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dedé Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sandro de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Marcelo Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adalberto Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edinho Paulista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Túlio Vasconcelos. BARVASCO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adalberto Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.RVascodaGama's Adalberto Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in BARVASCO's zone, Adalberto Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Adalberto Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, C.RVascodaGama's Dedé Torres got control of the ball when Gildo Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.RVascodaGama's Romeu Leal got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, C.RVascodaGama's Hélder Esteves got a free kick in the 34th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Marcelo Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of C.RVascodaGama booed when BARVASCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Adalberto Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.RVascodaGama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 played minutes C.RVascodaGama got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Alagoano. When Kléber Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the C.RVascodaGama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléber Travassos couldn't finish the play. Adalberto Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Vasconcelos having to interfere. Túlio Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, BARVASCO's goalkeeper Túlio Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adalberto Mesquita. In the 80th minute, Romeu Leal had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 80 minutes into the game, Maurício Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BARVASCO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.RVascodaGama the free kick. In the 81st match minute, BARVASCO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Vasconcelos having to interfere. If Hélder Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Túlio Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Adalberto Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. Túlio Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Travassos in the 87th minute of the match. Marcelo Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dedé Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. If Adalberto Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.RVascodaGama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
