Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) BARVASCO's Marcelo Romero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in BARVASCO's zone, Edvaldo Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Edvaldo Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gildo Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hélio da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gildo Costa's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Téo Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, BARVASCO's Diogo Teixeira tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gildo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hélio da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Freguesia's goalkeeper Hélio da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geovanni da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Túlio Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 played minutes BARVASCO got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Vale. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovanni da Fonseca to make the kick off. Freguesia's Edvaldo Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Edvaldo Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freguesia's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Geovanni da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freguesia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 80thth minute of the game Geovanni da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BARVASCO's Túlio Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maurício Queiroz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. BARVASCO's Túlio Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Fontes in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Edvaldo Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geovanni da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Freguesia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
