In the 8th minute, Vânderson de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ramiro Montez came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Fada Azul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Montez couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Ramiro Montez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Samuca Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Natanael Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 minutes, Samuca Paranaense made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. bahia03's Natanael Lara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Samuca Paranaense lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Natanael Lara. If Frédson Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Samuca Paranaense took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Natanael Lara to make any attempt to save it. Ramiro Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to bahia03 getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Adriano Carioca hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, Fada Azul's Dênis Ferraz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natanael Lara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fada Azul reached it. Natanael Lara was a little too slow when Samuel Prado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 6-0. With a little luck, bahia03's Natanael Lara got control of the ball when Ramiro Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, bahia03's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Paranaense came free, but Natanael Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 49th minute of the match Fada Azul got a corner. bahia03's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dênis Ferraz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gildo Zonta tried in the game's 49th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Natanael Lara. An annoying self made goal, 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinei Maciel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuca Paranaense spun around in front of the goal 56 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of bahia03's goal. After 58 played minutes Fada Azul got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Leão. When Fada Azul's Samuca Paranaense in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye bahia03's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Samuca Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natanael Lara was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Samuca Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Natanael Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ramiro Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fada Azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Montez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Paranaense in the 72nd minute of play forced bahia03's goalkeeper Natanael Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fada Azul's Fernando Gauargi was substituted for Samuca Paranaense. Claudinei Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Severo having to interfere. If Fernando Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natanael Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gauargi in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Fada Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Natanael Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 99 minutes, Claudinei Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bahia03 and the Fada Azul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, bahia03's Claudinei Maciel got a free kick in the 99th minute. Fada Azul's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
