Bernardo Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Quintal in the 2nd minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Sumauna got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Borges. Jonathan Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Erivaldo Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guga Rossi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Christofer Aleberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potiguar Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Christofer Aleberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes, Erivaldo Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potiguar Futebol Clube and the Sumauna players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Potiguar Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Erivaldo Quintal hit a great ball. Sumauna's Bernardo Barral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Sumauna from getting a goal against them. Cido de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Bernardo Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potiguar Futebol Clube. If Jonathan Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erivaldo Quintal's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Nemanja Urošev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Bernardo Barral made a huge save. In the 36thth minute of the game Erivaldo Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sumauna's Bernardo Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erivaldo Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bernardo Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erivaldo Quintal to strike the kick off in the second half. Erivaldo Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bernardo Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erivaldo Quintal scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Christofer Aleberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Sumauna's goal looked a bit too open when Nemanja Urošev came free, but Bernardo Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sumauna's Bernardo Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemanja Urošev in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Potiguar Futebol Clube's Erivaldo Quintal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Tadeu Borges's late challenge caught a Potiguar Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeu Borges helped the player get up and apologised. Tadeu Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Erivaldo Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Potiguar Futebol Clube's Erivaldo Quintal in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sumauna's goalie prevented a goal. Nemanja Urošev scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 7-0 became the score in the 85th minute when Erivaldo Quintal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Erivaldo Quintal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Barral having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemanja Urošev in the 93rd minute of play forced Sumauna's goalkeeper Bernardo Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo Quintal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Barral having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Potiguar Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
